Everyone has one or two things that they really enjoy which gives them comfort and a way to escape the monotony of their daily life. For me , I ave 5 favorite things: watching my youngest son play baseball, watching my oldest son dance (choreography), watch my daughter interact with animals at the zoo, watching NFL football in my man cave, and having intimate moments (hours) with my wife. To clarify, favorites not always in this particular order. With baseball getting shutdown, school getting delayed, and zoos closed, there are only two favorites left for me to do. Unfortunately for my wife, NFL football is a few months away and worse, may be canceled soon too. With the COVID-19 situation, rumor has it the NFL is looking at some wild options to be able to still hold the NFL season this year. None of the suggestions really seem feasible which could lead to a total shelving of the season set to start in Aug. That would be one of the most depressing results of COVID-19 for me. don't get me wrong. I'm very thankful for my families health and that we have been able to manage thus far with only my two eldest kids being laid off/Furloughed from work. Fortunately for me I have photos and videos of my kids I can watch if I need a fix and being married, I've learned to go without attention for months on end, but never have I had to go without football. Just thinking about the possibility has me biting my nails again. GREAT NEWS.. was just informed ESPN is playing classic Monday night games on TV starting tonight.. Rams vs Chiefs tonight, the highest scoring NFL game in MNF history. Sorry honey, you'll need to watch The Doctor by yourself.
