Roger Waters' 'Us + Them' Film Gets June Digital Release Date

Roger Waters ' long-awaited concert film from his Us + Them world tour will be released digitally on June 16.

The Us + Them film was shot in Amsterdam in June of 2018. Last fall, fans in over 60 countries were treated to a limited theatrical release of the film.

Waters' Us + Them setlist includes weaves dramatic, politically-charged work from his most recent solo album, Is This the Life We Really Want? with classic Pink Floyd work from albums like, The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall.

The former Pink Floyd bassist once called the film a "call to action," writing that human beings "stand at a crossroads, we can either pool our love, develop our capacity to empathize with others and act collectively for the good of our plant, or we can remain comfortably numb and continue, like bling lemmings, on our current omnicidal death march towards extinction. US + THEM is a vote for love and life."

Director Sean Evans added, "This is a great film — an amazing performance delivered with care, emotion and meaning. Didn't think it was possible, but I believe we've outdone The Wall..."

In light of his upcoming This Is Not a Drill tour being postponed until further notice, Waters recently got his band back together for a quarantined, virtual version of "Mother."
