MARK'S FAVORITE LISTENER CLASSIC CAFE REQUESTS FOR THE WEEK OF FEB 27 TO MAR 3 (with links to music videos): Meat Loaf's "I'd Do Anything For Love(But I Won't Do That)" was released in 1993, was their first certified platinum #1 single and went #1 in 28 countries; Foghat's "Fool for the City" was the title track from their 1975 album (which also included "Slow Ride") and peaked at #45 on Billboard's Pop Singles chart; Eric Carmen's "Make Me Lose Control" (the follow up song to his hit "Hungry Eyes") was a Top 5 success peaking at #3 on Billboard's Hot 100 in 1988; Cat Stevens' "Peace Train" was released in 1971, reached #7 on the Billboard Hot 100, #1 on the Adult Contemporary Chart and has been featured in two of my favorites sports films "Remember The Titans" and "We Are Marshal;" Three Dog Night's "Mama Told Me(Not to Come)" was originally written for Eric Burdon's first solo album but TDN's 1970 cover became the hit version that went all the way to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
