Love defies common sense for my Daughter

Very frustrated as a father this morning. I was so happy that my daughter was able to make it back to Cedar Rapids from college. she is attending Southern Illinois. down in Carbondale, working on becoming a Zoologist. Following the lead of many other colleges, they shut down the campus for the remainder of the school year, moving to online classes for everyone. Last weekend, she managed to get all of her belongings out of the dorm and make it back to Iowa, as Illinois began restricting travel on a Stay at Home decree. She has only been home a week and the isolation from 'The Boyfriend' has been just too much for her. Last night she informed me that she was packing her bags and leaving today for Chicago, because sh's worried she won't see him for several months if she doesn't. Despite the state and national warnings and advisement on the dangers of traveling amidst this crisis and my begging her not to risj her health and the health of our family, she siad " I'm going and that's it". She is twenty and legally can make decisions for herself. but as a Father, I still want to protect her. I suggested Facetime sessions with the boyfriend or skype so she can see him everyday and keep tabs on him. There apparently is no reasoning when arguing with a woman's heart. Praying she doesn't get infected or locked down in Chicago, which is one of the worst places you can be right now. I can feel my hair turning even more gray just thinking about it.
