Ned Returns For Twenty One Pilots' 'Level Of Concern' Live Debut

On Friday night (May 22), Twenty One Pilots played "Level of Concern" live for the first time on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. They performed the new song with the help of some of their friends, including the return of our beloved Ned.

The cuddly alien that we first met in TOP's "Chlorine" music video made a guest appearance during the performance, and apparently he can play guitar!

At the end of the song, singer Tyler Joseph gave a shout out to the other friends who helped on keys, bass, and trumpet before saying that they were making lemonade — via email.

During a recent interview, Joseph admitted if they didn't release "Level of Concern" right away, it probably never would have come out. “I knew it was a now or never type of track where if we weren’t able to get it out right away, I probably just would’ve trashed it,” he said.

"Level Of Concern" isn't the only new song Joseph has written in isolation. In another recent interview, he revealed that he's working on a whole new album — and it's going to come out sooner than expected.
