Angels & Airwaves Reschedule Tour As Tom DeLonge Battles Infection

Angels & Airwaves have announced that they will be postponing the upcoming second leg of their tour due to Tom DeLonge suffering a respiratory infection.

Details regarding the specifics of his infection have not been revealed other than it being described as “nasty.” Despite the unfortunate news, the band has already reassured all fans on Instagram that the original tour dates have been rescheduled for later dates in spring.

Angels & Airwaves were scheduled to play a show tomorrow (January 16) in Toronto, Ontario.

“Unfortunately, Tom has come down with a nasty upper respiratory infection and the upcoming Leg 2 of the winter tour are being rescheduled. New dates below. All tickets purchased for the original shows will be honored,” the band's statement read on Instagram.

Angels & Airwaves started their tour at the beginning of December after embarking on their first tour in seven years. The band also recently released the music video for their latest single “Kiss and Tell” which follows up the band's first single, “Rebel Girl.”
