Here are my favorites listener requests for The Classic Cafe All-Request Lunch Hour for the week of Jan 23-27. Meat Loaf...Bat Out Of Hell...title track from the album of the same name released in 1979...the song itself didn't chart well, but Rolling Stone magazine in 2003 ranked the album #343 among the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time; Ringo Starr...The No No Song...from the 1974 album "Goodnight Vienna" the song went to #1 in Canada and to #3 on the US charts and featured backing vocals from Harry Nilsson; Sting...Fields of Gold...the song was written by Michael Bolton and released in 1993 off his "If Ever I Lose My Faith In You" album, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary and #23 on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts; Bob Seger...You'll Accompany Me...released in 1980 off his "Against The Wind" album the song reached #14 of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart; Todd Rundgren...Bang The Drum All Day...from his album "The Ever Popular Tortured Artist" the popular anti-work anthem only reached #39 on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and topped out at #63 on the US Billboard Pop Singles chart.
