Years ago it would have been suicide for a rock band to let a commercial advertiser use one of their songs for a product, so bands didn't sell out. That was then, this is now. More and more rock bands are seeing a few good reasons in letting companies use their music, green ones as in cash. They can make a lot more from selling rights than they can selling songs these days and for some older bands, its a way to intrioduce their music to a whole new audience who may not know them. The latest to sell out is Boston. which is now featuring "More than a feeling" in a yogurt add. Does that change what you think about when you hear the song?
